My first reaction when seeing a story such as this is to construct a rich mental tapestry of conspiratorial cynicism, embroidered with images of sixties espio-rotic literature.

To summarize, a German-manufactured, Israeli-operated “Dolphin” class submarine, carrying a 500 kiloton thermo-nuclear weapon, departed a German port sometime in the closing days of April, and has mysteriously been “lost”. There are four such submarines currently in service, and they all belong to Israel.
