USS Enterprise (CVN-65)

The USS Enterprise (CVN-65) departed Norfolk on Sunday, the 11 March 2012.

This is slated to be her 22nd and final deployment before being decommissioned and scrapped later this year or next year. The cost of safely removing the 8 nuclear reactors which power the ship and disposing of the spent radioactive fuel is stated to be anywhere between $300 million and $500 million. There are several people floating the idea that it would be convenient (and cost-effective) to the US war junta if she were to be attacked and sunk as part of a false flag operation, for the purpose of starting open war with Iran.
